a Saturday Afternoon in Pasadena

We were very fortunate to work with a beautiful couple, Derrick and Chelsea, on both the wedding coordination and floral design of their May 1st wedding in Pasadena. We had a little scare of rain the week before, but it turned out to be a perfect Southern California day. The ceremony and reception took place at the historical landmark, Castle Green, and their colors were watermelon and white. They decided to use manzanita branches as the theme wedding, and it was seen through their centerpieces, namecards, and programs. We created an incredible stunning arrangement for the main entrance to emphasize the theme, and I must say, it was gorgeous!

We also worked on a very appealing aisle petal design which look great against the rich green grass.

Chelsea's favorite flower is the stephanotis, a very soft and delicate flower. We incorporated it in her bouquet by using watermelon colored roses, and that really made it pop.

I'll be sure to post more pictures when we get them from the photographer. All in all, it was a great wedding, and we're so glad that we were part of it. The newlyweds were happy, and so were we.

what's in a name?

I have a very rare enthusiasm for event planning.  When most people run away from having to plan anything, whether it is a small dinner party, to a full blown wedding of 300, I get a natural high from it.  But what is even more rare, is to find a girlfriend who shares the same love for planning.  Not only planning, but a love of raw creativity.

Fast forward to the present: Every event we plan, every design we create, and every arrangement we produce has a common goal: to emanate love and joy into our clients' lives through the products and services we provide for them.

Together, Vivian ANNE Tran and Pamela JOY Quijano are able to do this as love.anne.joy.

where shall we begin...

We have been working on several projects over the last couple of months, so we thought it was the perfect time to start a blog to keep everyone updated on what we are doing.

We just finished up designing and printing some awesome Twilight themed movie ticket invitations for a 13th year old birthday party, and wrapped up months of planning with the coordination and floral designs for the Le-Kuntz wedding in Pasadena. I will definitely blog and post images about those soon. We have other projects on our hands right now, and can’t wait to share it with you.
